MELANIE DEKKER | 22.02.2012

The Canadian Melanie Dekker is certainly no longer an unknown quantity on these shores. With her unmistakeable, melodic guitar sound she has been touring right across Europe for a number of years, particularly in Germany and Denmark.
Her songs are a little bit like an early “Jewel”, with a touch of “Dixie Chicks” and a hint of “Sheryl Crow” – but all the while 100 % Melanie Dekker. The singer’s portfolio includes co-operations with great artists like Bryan Adams, Faith Hill, Chaka Khan, Lars H.U.G. and Diana Krall.
Fans and all who are interested in music can look forward to this concert!

STEFANY JUNE | 14.03.2012

On 14 March the rock’n’popmuseum will present Stefany June, a German-Dutch band on its way to the top of the pop Olympus. Influenced by all kinds of Scandinavian music greats, Stefany June is characterised by indie pop to dance to and hooks that stay in your ear.
Whoever likes to go beyond the Top 10 in the German singles charts will find a real pearl in Stefany June; indie pop with electronic influences, which might remind some of the good old Blondie times and is often mentioned in England in the same breath as Kate Bush.

SHUBANGI & THE MAXONS |18.04.2012

Shubangei & The Maxons are well known for straight beats, combined with powerful vocals - moody sounds are mixed with danceable grooves. Singer "Shoe" (aka Shubangei Yogendra) is performing since 10 years with her powerful soulful voice and inspires the audience in clubs, on festivals and hip-hop jams with her energetic style. Together with her backing band "The Maxons", she developed a unique sound, which could not be found anywhere else!

UNGEHÖRT | 18.04.2012

“Ungehört” is a promising up-and-coming band from Gronau that is currently making a name for itself in the region. Founded originally around a guitarist and a bassist to help with a successful application to a college music course in Enschede, the five musicians decided to continue making music and to stage a few shows in the Westphalia region.
The local connections of the band around the singer, Inga, is starting to bear fruit, as Ungehört can already boast a considerable fan community in North Rhine-Westphalia. Convincing singing, strong grooves and powerful sounds in a rock-pop direction are the trademarks of this emerging band...

BEN GALLIERS | 16.05.2012

“If you’re going to do something, do it right; with your whole body, with your gut, with your soul....and with a smile!”
This motto has been written large by Ben Galliers. The sound of the five-member group is multifaceted: positive, up-tempo numbers lead into sensitive ballads; melancholy swells into an energetic lust for life, without ever losing the striking style and authentic manner of the charismatic protagonist and his four band mates. Ben Galliers presents an exciting mixture of pop, swing and indie: an unusual, energetic show with a positive impact!

KABANA | 04.07.2012

In its songs the band tells of spring ladies and vagabonds, a dance on the roofs of skyscrapers and shoes full of sand. Stories of departure that always leave room for an arrival. In a world full of James Bonds, this band is Cary Grant.
In brief: German pop-rock at its best! There is no shortage of creativity in Kabana, with the band releasing its first self-titled demo EP as early as 2009. With it the quartet even managed to convince Germany’s largest radio station, EinsLive, which invited the band to an interview. Since then the musicians have toured a lot, done festival gigs, and naturally continue to work hard on new songs in the studio.
