Shubangei & The Maxons are well known for straight beats, combined with powerful vocals - moody sounds are mixed with danceable grooves. Singer "Shoe" (aka Shubangei Yogendra) is performing since 10 years with her powerful soulful voice and inspires the audience in clubs, on festivals and hip-hop jams with her energetic style. Together with her backing band "The Maxons", she developed a unique sound, which could not be found anywhere else! |

“Ungehört” is a promising up-and-coming band from Gronau that is currently making a name for itself in the region. Founded originally around a guitarist and a bassist to help with a successful application to a college music course in Enschede, the five musicians decided to continue making music and to stage a few shows in the Westphalia region. |

In its songs the band tells of spring ladies and vagabonds, a dance on the roofs of skyscrapers and shoes full of sand. Stories of departure that always leave room for an arrival. In a world full of James Bonds, this band is Cary Grant. |
The project “Can Studio Live” is sponsored by the Ministry for the Family, Children, Youth and Culture in the federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
